Job Description

Position Description:
Our Production Associates are a critical part of our team, responsible for building high-quality interior and exterior Prehung door units. This role requires individuals who take ownership of their work, are detail-oriented, and can adapt between tasks. Successful candidates are reliable, safety-minded, and committed to meeting production goals without sacrificing quality.
Responsibilities:
 Assemble interior and exterior Prehung doors, including frame builds, hinge prep, strike routing, casing, weatherstripping, and hardware installation  Maintain accuracy with measurements and build specs, ensuring every unit is built to meet customer expectations and quality standards  Be flexible and able to rotate between workstations as needed (jamb builds, door machine, exterior builds, etc.)  Proactively identify and communicate defects, material issues, or incomplete orders to leads before moving product forward  Uphold a clean, safe, and organized work environment—including sweeping, station resets, and material restocking  Use tools safely and correctly (saws, routers, drills, nail guns, and other production equipment)  Wear appropriate PPE at all times, including safety glasses and hearing protection  Contribute to a positive team environment, showing up on time, staying engaged, and supporting teammates  Take part in training new team members or offering peer guidance when needed
Qualifications:
 Basic knowledge of hand and power tools (e.g., nail guns, drills, routers); prior experience preferred but not required  Ability to read a tape measure accurately and interpret basic build sheets  Strong attention to detail and ability to spot defects or incorrect builds  Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs regularly and being on feet for 8+ hour shifts  Willingness to rotate between departments or tasks depending on workflow needs  Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality record  Self-motivated and capable of working independently once trained  Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with daily production targets  Team-first attitude with strong communication skills—able to ask questions and help teammates  Previous door, trim, or millwork experience is a plus, but we will train reliable, detail-oriented candidate
Pay:
$20.00 - $28.00 per hour
