Job Summary Illicit Gardens is seeking an energetic MIP Floater to assist with multiple areas in the Marijuana Infused Packaging department. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, great time management skills, and the ability to own a high volume role with many responsibilities. Compliance & Safety Follow all New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission (NJ CRC) regulations and facility SOPs Wear required PPE including gloves, hair nets and beard guards Report safety hazards, spills, equipment malfunctions, or compliance concerns immediately Sanitation & Contamination Control Clean and sanitize workspaces, tools, and equipment before and after production Follow cross-contamination prevention protocols between cannabis, food ingredients, and vape components Maintain sterile handling practices in vape filling areas Cannabis Lab Operations Accurately weigh cannabis materials and concentrate using calibrated scales Assist with extraction post-processing, distillate preparation and packing Label and track batches to maintain full compliance and traceability Infusion Kitchen Duties Prepare infused oils, distillate, and ingredients for edible production Follow batch recipes and operate commercial kitchen equipment safely Monitor cooking temperatures and storage conditions for food safety compliance Vape Cartridge Production Assist with filling vape cartridges using approved filling equipment Inspect cartridges, hardware, and seals for defects or contamination Ensure accurate dosing and proper viscosity handling of distillate or oil Cap, seal, and stage cartridges for packaging following compliance standards Assist with distillate preparation, live resin preparation, flower preparation, diamond preparation and joint preparation Packaging & Quality Control Package finished products, tamper-evident, and compliant labeling Perform quality checks for weight accuracy, appearance, and product consistency Inventory & Waste Management Assist with inventory counts, material reconciliation, and proper cannabis waste disposal procedures. Fill out all logs and hand them over to MIP manager / assistant manager Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent At least 21 years of age and able to obtain licensure through the State of New Jersey Previous experience in cannabis production or manufacturing preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of cannabis strains, potency, and product quality standards Ability to follow strict compliance and safety protocols Benefits Competitive salary and benefits package Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and employee discounts on products Opportunities for growth and advancement within the company 100% Employee Owned (ESOP)
