Production Operator I -
Night Shift Night Shift Schedule:
7:00PM-7:30AM Comstock Metals is seeking a motivated, safety-focused individual to join our team as a Production Operator I. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for someone ready to build hands-on manufacturing experience while learning the ins and outs of production operations. You'll play an important role in keeping daily operations running smoothly through equipment operation, material handling, inspections, and general production support—all while developing your skills in a team-focused environment.

To succeed as Production Operator I, you should have: High school diploma or
GED. 0-2
years of experience in manufacturing, industrial, recycling, warehouse, or production environments. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn production processes and equipment operation. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Ability to work safely in industrial and outdoor environments while wearing required PPE at all times. Experience operating industrial equipment, forklift certification or ability to obtain certification, and/or experience in manufacturing, mining, or recycling operations. (Preferred) Your responsibilities as Production Operator I will include: Perform assigned production tasks safely and efficiently. Operate basic production equipment following established procedures. Assist with material movement, sorting, staging, and processing activities. Conduct routine inspections and report equipment or process issues. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety, environmental, and quality requirements. Accurately complete production documentation and reporting. Participate in training programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
