Job Description
Production Line Position Summary The Production Line Associate supports the manufacturing and packaging of Gliptone products by operating production equipment, filling containers, labeling, packing finished goods, and maintaining a safe and efficient work area. This role helps ensure products are produced accurately, safely, and in accordance with company quality standards and production schedules. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor assigned production line equipment. Fill, cap, label, and pack soaps, cleaners, compounds, polishes, waxes, and spray detailer products. Stage raw materials, packaging components, and supplies for daily production runs. Inspect containers, labels, caps, and finished products for quality and accuracy. Follow batch sheets, work instructions, and production schedules. Assist with line changeovers, setup, and cleanup between product runs. Accurately record production counts, downtime, waste, and other required documentation. Maintain clean, organized, and safe workstations in accordance with housekeeping standards. Report equipment issues, product defects, spills, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly. Follow all PPE, safety, and chemical handling requirements. Support quality control by identifying and separating nonconforming product. Work with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive tasks. Ability to work around chemical products, fragrances, and cleaning agents while wearing required PPE. Work Environment Manufacturing and production floor setting. Exposure to raw materials, liquids, fragrances, and packaged chemical products. Requires compliance with PPE, safety procedures, and quality standards. Sample Performance Expectations Meet daily production and packaging targets. Maintain product quality and labeling accuracy. Minimize waste and downtime. Follow safety and housekeeping requirements consistently. Complete production paperwork accurately and on time.
Pay:
$18.50 - $26.00 per hourBenefits:
