Job description Omni Services, a leader in the Fluid Conveyance and Industrial Hose markets throughout the Northeast is looking for a Production Associate.

Job and Location:

This opening is for production associate(s) in our hose assembly fabrication center. This is a career opportunity for the right individual to grow with the company.

Production Associate:

The production associate will be responsible for assisting on order fabrication, warehouse organization. The individual will work separately or with a team to fulfill customer's requirements for just in time product with the level of quality required.

Job Duties:

Present a neat and professional image. Communicate positively with sales staff, supervisors and fellow associates. Process orders and shipments in a timely and accurate manner as specified by customer's requirements. Fabricate custom hose assemblies for a wide variety of specialty markets. Increase production efficiencies. Pick and package orders quickly and accurately. Operate under the required quality processes, produce and maintain quality documents for associated products. Utilize corporate computer operating systems and other technologies. Additional warehouse and fabrication duties as assigned. Keep the facility clean, neat and safe. Follow company policies, procedures and safety guidelines in a drug free workplace. Attend sales and product knowledge meetings as required.

Job Requirements:

Self starter. Judgment and decision making ability. Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities. Team player who works well with a wide range of people. Professional demeanor. Effective communication skills. Capable of following written instructions and documented procedures. Stand / walk for duration of work hours. Operate forklift in compliance with OSHA requirements. Lift / carry / maneuver heavy material or equipment. Read a tape measure, digital caliper and do simple math.

Education:

High school or GED required.

Experience:

Minimum 1 years in a similar or progressive position preferred.
