Job Description

Now hiring a Team Lead (Paint/Assembly/Skids) for a manufacturing company in Akron.
Shift:
5:30am
  • 4:30pm, Monday
  • Thursday Overtime on Fridays, 5:30am
  • 2:30pm. Weekly pay ranging between $27
  • $32 per hour, depending on experience.
The Team Lead's primary responsibility is to work alongside and oversee the team members in the paint, assembly and skid/crate building areas to produce parts, subassemblies, or final assemblies in accordance with production goals.
Job Duties:
Promote safety in the workplace by ensuring all team members abide by safety rules and standards. Train and instruct team members on work instructions and proper machining procedures. Provide each team member with daily assignments and production goals. Review and timely distribute prints to appropriate personnel as instructed by the Operations Director. Assist in pulling and organizing inventory needed for upcoming assembly operations so that team members may continue without delay or downtime. Timely report diminishing quantity levels of critical inventory items to the Operations Director so that items may be replenished or reordered ahead of need. Ensure that team members clean their work areas after work daily to maintain a clean and safe working environment. Report the materials needed to keep the team working daily. Assist Operations Director and Human Resources Director to develop and document updated work instructions for the operations occurring in the Lead's assigned work areas.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent. A minimum of five (5) years in a production role. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Computer skills including, but not limited to, recording time and quantities. Applicants must have their own transportation and submit a resume. Take the next step
