Job Title:
Production Lead Job Description We are seeking a Production Lead to work in the 'Wet' side of our plant, focusing on producing sealers, epoxies, and additive mixtures for concrete. This role involves overseeing four direct reports in the loading building, scheduling bulk tanker trucks, and managing the production of additive mixtures. The environment is not a traditional production line, offering a unique experience for the right candidate. The Production Lead will divide their time between office administration and plant operations. Responsibilities Set and manage scheduled production requirements to meet operational needs and execute the procurement of raw materials. Coordinate customer service activities with production to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Perform data entry tasks related to orders, inventory control, production, and purchasing. Handle orders via email or phone, serving as a key point of contact for operational needs. Oversee and direct plant personnel in production planning, loading/unloading operations, and facility maintenance. Actively participate in plant functions, including loading tankers and driving forklifts. Ensure the production of high-quality products by following established procedures and conducting quality inspections in line with lab protocols. Identify and document any issues related to product quality, processes, or the quality system. Conduct inventory checks and ensure accurate record-keeping. Monitor and enforce adherence to safety procedures and protocols. Essential Skills High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of 3 years of related experience in a production, manufacturing, or operations environment, including at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role. Highly organized and adaptable to changing goals. Competence in working with numbers and conversions. Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate a team effectively. Proficiency in data entry and familiarity with inventory management systems. Commitment to safety and quality standards. Additional Skills & Qualifications 3+ years of Production Lead experience (will accept military leadership experience). Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Experience with multitasking, order entry, and inventory control. Supervisory experience and familiarity with chemicals/liquid product handling are advantageous. Why Work Here?
