Semi-Automated Welder Full-Time | MIG Welding | Industrial Production | Long-Term Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Semi-Automated Welder to join an industrial production team. This position combines operating semi-automated welding equipment with hands-on MIG welding, quality inspection, and manual weld repair. The ideal Semi-Automated Welder will have strong MIG welding experience, the ability to identify and correct weld defects, and a commitment to producing consistent, high-quality work in a production environment.   • Responsibilities Set up and operate semi-automated welding equipment.
Perform MIG welding on mild steel components in a production environment. Read and follow blueprints, weld symbols, welding procedures, and production specifications. Monitor weld quality and adjust equipment or welding parameters as needed. Perform leak testing and routine quality-control inspections. Identify weld defects and complete necessary repairs by hand. Perform penetrant/dye testing to verify weld integrity. Maintain consistent weld quality, appearance, and workmanship throughout production. Follow established welding, quality-control, and safety procedures. Keep the workstation clean, organized, and safe. Semi-Automated Welder
  • Qualifications 4+ years of welding experience preferred.
Strong hands-on experience with MIG welding on mild steel . Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols. Previous experience with weld inspection and quality-control procedures. Comfortable operating semi-automated or production welding equipment. Ability to identify weld defects and perform manual weld repairs. Strong attention to detail and commitment to weld quality.   • Required Weld Test Candidates must successfully complete a: MIG Weld Test
  • Mild Steel Plate
  • 1G Flat Position The weld test will be used to verify welding ability, technique, and overall weld quality. Semi-Automated Welder
  • Pay & Schedule Full-Time Competitive pay based on experience Overtime opportunities may be available Long-term opportunity in an established industrial production environment
Pay:
From $23.00 per hour
