Qualifications Manufacturing Full Job Description SUMMARY:
Performs tasks associated with that of a Bander person. Complies with all company safety rules and regulations. Demonstrates the ability to be a part of the production team by communicating and working within the parameters of the production department under the direction of the department supervisor. The appearance and condition that our product is received by our customers is extremely important to the success our company. You have the responsibility to put the finishing and final touches on our product. We are proud of what we produce and that pride is displayed in good-looking units. Our success depends on our product looking not good but better than our competitors that is your responsibility. The success of our company depends upon our operational efficiency. Every effort must be made to help out and do whatever it takes to accomplish our goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes but is not limited to the following: Ensure that any damaged, poor quality, or miss-sorted products are not packaged. Put the finishing and final touches on our product. Bump loads to square. Apply end seal—no over spray. Trim long ends with chain saw. Staple unit tag to package, watch for accuracy. Paperwrap appropriate units for orders. Complete all paperwork for units taken from stock. Accurately and neatly stencil tags. Monitor supplies re-order in a timely manner so as not to run out. Back up in other departments as requested. Report any potential machinery defects immediately. Report any potential safety risks immediately. Keep area clean and organized. Downtime is clean-up and minor maintenance time. Why Join Our Team? QUALIFICATIONS
Includes but is not limited to the following Must have working knowledge of sawmill manufacturing processes. Communicate with co-workers and supervisor. Work with and promote a teamwork environment. Work with limited supervision Promote and support a strong safety culture. Must be willing to fill in on off shift and overtime when required.
