Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Line Worker to assemble high-quality jewelry pieces. You will work in a fast-paced team environment, handling delicate materials and ensuring every piece meets our strict craftsmanship standards. Prior jewelry and metal working experience preferred; craftiness and resourcefulness encouraged; On-the-job training to our standards will be provided, but general skillset is preferred.
Key Responsibilities Assemble pieces:
Connect components like clasps, jump rings, links, and charms using specialized hand tools. Wire-wrapping at a high caliber is required for regular production team member. Training is offered but basic know-how, general handiness is preffered.
Apply finishes:
Clean, polish, and card completed jewelry items to prepare them for packaging.
Inspect quality:
Check items against specifications to identify defects like scratches, loose stones, or weak joints. Make sure wire-wrapping is up to standard.
Pack orders:
Count, label, and securely pack finished goods into inventory trays or shipping boxes.
Maintain workspace:
Keep tools clean, organized, and report any equipment malfunctions immediately. Qualifications & Skills Manual dexterity: General know-how and hand-eye coordination to work safely with very small components; wire-wrapping experience is beneficial to potential candidate. Pace & stamina: Ability to perform repetitive tasks quickly while sitting or standing for long periods. Ability to focus screen-free and complete tasks.
Team player:
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively on an assembly line.
Basic math:
Ability to accurately count parts, match SKU numbers, and read digital scales.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent certification preferred.
