Position Summary Reporting to the Associate Director of Multimedia Marketing, this position assists with all stages of the video production process, including pre-production, filming, audio recording, lighting, editing, asset organization, and final delivery. The Multimedia Production Specialist is a highly motivated, collaborative, and creative individual who supports the creation of high-quality multimedia content that aligns with Bryant University's brand, strategic priorities, and storytelling goals.
This position is a key contributor to the University's multimedia storytelling efforts, helping capture and produce content for university events, marketing campaigns, and institutional initiatives. While primarily focused on video production, the Multimedia Production Specialist may also support basic photography coverage and other visual storytelling needs.

Principal Accountabilities Assist with the production of high-quality, engaging video and multimedia content that supports Bryant University's strategic goals, brand priorities, and storytelling needs.
Support all stages of video production from planning through final delivery, including preparing for shoots, capturing A-roll interviews and B-roll footage, recording audio, setting up lighting, editing, and exporting.
Provide video coverage at campus events to capture B-roll footage for short and long-form videos highlighting campus life, academics, athletics, and events.
Assist with the operation and maintenance of production equipment, including cameras, lenses, microphones, lighting, tripods, stabilizers, and related tools.
Organize, log, and archive multimedia assets on shared servers, digital asset management systems, and other storage platforms.
Support basic photography coverage and visual storytelling needs when appropriate.
Stay current with video production best practices, digital marketing trends, and emerging multimedia tools.
Collaborate with faculty, staff, students, and other campus partners to create multimedia content that promotes Bryant University's mission and enhances audience engagement.
Perform related duties as assigned.
Qualifications This position requires a bachelor's degree in film/video production, communications, marketing, or a related field, along with one to three years of professional experience in multimedia production, digital content development, or visual storytelling. The successful candidate will have experience creating video content for digital platforms and a working knowledge of the video production process, including planning, filming, editing, lighting, audio recording, and content delivery.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Premiere Pro, is required; experience with After Effects, Photoshop, and Lightroom is preferred. Experience using professional video and photography equipment, including cameras, lenses, microphones, and lighting tools, is expected. Knowledge of motion graphics, digital asset management, video analytics, and photo retouching is a plus.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong visual storytelling skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. They must be able to work independently and collaboratively, communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders, and embrace innovation, continuous learning, and emerging technologies, including AI tools.
