In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality sewing processes, ensuring that all products meet strict quality standards and safety protocols. Sewing experience is preferred, but is not required for this role . The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, an appreciation for handmade quality goods, eagerness to learn new skills, and is prepared for hands-on work. Responsibilities Operate Juki 2810-7 and other sewing machines to assemble equipment according to specified build and quality standards. Visit www.ugmfg.com to see examples of products built. Measure fabrics and finished products using various measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy according to specifications. Maintain adherence to safety standards in production environments, including proper handling of materials and equipment. Monitor quality standards throughout the sewing process, inspecting finished products for defects or inconsistencies. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot machine issues, optimize sewing techniques, and improve overall workflow efficiency. Preferred Qualifications Proven experience in garment sewing, upholstery, or related manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of sewing construction techniques. Proficiency in operating single needle industrial sewing machines Knowledge of measuring instruments and dimensional measurements to ensure precise product specifications. Familiarity with quality standards in production and safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment. Experience handling fabric materials and performing manual cutting tasks with accuracy. Ability to interpret technical drawings or patterns for garment construction or upholstery projects.

Benefits:

Full Time (40hr/week). Starting pay will scale based on previous experience/ability and will increase as training is completed and skills are developed. No required overtime or weekend work.
