Job Description

Press Assistant Shift:

1st, (7am-3pm)

Pay:

$17-$18/hr We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Press Assistant to join our production team on 1st shift. This position works closely with the Press Operator and Press Manager to support daily pressroom operations and ensure efficient production flow.

Remove printed product from the production line and stack onto pallets

Maintain a continuous supply of paper and pallets for production

Assist with press make-readies, operation support, and basic maintenance

Help maintain proper ink and water balance to support print registration

Assist the Press Operator with changing folders and lap folder setup as needed

Label, wrap, and identify unfinished paper rolls using shrink-wrap

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Follow all workplace safety procedures and production guidelines

Qualification:

Printing or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required

Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals

Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
