Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented 3rd shift Iron Pourer to join our manufacturing team. This vital role involves operating the iron pouring process during the overnight shift, ensuring the production of high-quality castings. As a key member of our manufacturing operation, you will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your technical skills and mechanical knowledge to support continuous production and maintain safety standards. Responsibilities Prepare and set up equipment for iron pouring, including melting furnaces and ladles. Operate and monitor melting and pouring processes to produce consistent, high-quality castings. Use hand tools, cranes, and forklifts to handle raw materials, molds, and finished products safely. Conduct routine inspections of tooling, molds, and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance. Perform quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and surface quality of castings. Maintain detailed shift logs, safety documentation, and production reports to ensure traceability and accountability. Qualifications Proven experience with manufacturing processes such as machining is highly desirable. Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, hand tools, calipers, and other precision instruments safely. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and process adjustments. Also reading skills Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with a proactive attitude toward safety procedures in an industrial environment. Pay:
