Sonora Quest Laboratories is seeking a Medical Lab Scientist to join our technology-driven diagnostics team. In this hybrid role, you will perform complex clinical testing, leverage advanced automation, and work closely with our IT specialists to enhance laboratory information systems and digital workflows. You'll ensure accurate, compliant results, maintain rigorous quality control, and contribute to process and technology improvements. Responsibilities Perform and validate a wide range of clinical laboratory tests across core disciplines. Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot automated analyzers and related lab technologies. Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of test results within regulatory standards. Collaborate with IT and lab teams to optimize laboratory information systems and workflows. Maintain detailed technical documentation, QC records, and compliance reports. Participate in method validation, instrument upgrades, and process improvement initiatives. Adhere to all safety, biosafety, and quality assurance protocols. Provide technical guidance to junior staff and support cross-functional project teams.
