Approximately 5-30 associates depending on project scope Position Summary Partners Personnel is seeking an experienced Onsite Quality Containment Lead / Working Supervisor to oversee project-based quality containment, sorting, inspection, and rework activities within a distribution center environment. This position will provide direct onsite leadership to a team of Partners Personnel associates assigned to defined quality projects. The Lead/Supervisor will be responsible for managing the day-to-day workforce, coordinating assignments, monitoring productivity and attendance, ensuring work is completed according to client specifications, and maintaining clear communication with the client's Quality team and Partners Personnel. This is a hands-on leadership position designed to provide the client with a scalable, independently managed team capable of responding quickly to quality-related events. Projects may range from several days to several months and may require teams of approximately 5-30 associates depending on the scope of work. Key Responsibilities Provide direct onsite supervision and leadership to Partners Personnel associates assigned to quality containment, sorting, inspection, and rework projects. Coordinate daily work assignments based on project scope, priorities, and client instructions. Conduct daily startup meetings and communicate production expectations, safety requirements, and project goals to the team. Manage employee attendance, call-offs, tardiness, breaks, and daily staffing levels. Verify and maintain accurate employee timekeeping and communicate payroll-related information to Partners Personnel. Monitor employee productivity and ensure established production targets and project timelines are being met. Track daily output, including quantities inspected, sorted, reworked, accepted, rejected, or otherwise dispositioned as required by the project. Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular progress updates to Partners Personnel and the client's Quality team. Ensure associates follow established work instructions, quality standards, safety requirements, and site procedures. Identify performance, attendance, quality, or behavioral concerns and address them promptly in coordination with Partners Personnel. Assist with training and onboarding associates to project-specific work instructions and expectations. Maintain appropriate staffing levels and communicate additional workforce needs to the Partners recruiting team. Serve as the primary day-to-day liaison between the Partners Personnel project team and designated client Quality/Operations contacts. Escalate quality concerns, unclear specifications, safety issues, or changes in project scope to the appropriate client and Partners leadership. Support the team directly when necessary to maintain workflow and meet project deadlines. Help establish repeatable processes that can be scaled for future containment, sorting, and rework projects. Types of Projects Projects may include, but are not limited to: Product sorting and segregation Quality containment Visual product inspections Packaging inspections Labeling or relabeling Product rework Inventory inspection Identification and separation of nonconforming or suspect product Other defined quality-related projects within a distribution center environment Each project will have a defined scope of work, expected production requirements, staffing needs, and anticipated completion timeline. Qualifications Bilingual - Spanish / English Previous experience in a lead, supervisor, onsite coordinator, warehouse leadership, quality, manufacturing, or distribution environment preferred. Experience supervising teams of 10+ employees strongly preferred. Experience with quality inspection, containment, sorting, rework, manufacturing, or distribution center operations is a plus. Strong leadership and employee-management skills. Ability to hold employees accountable for attendance, productivity, quality, and workplace expectations. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Comfortable tracking production numbers and preparing basic daily reports. Ability to communicate professionally with client leadership and internal Partners Personnel teams. Ability to understand and communicate written work instructions and quality requirements. Basic computer skills, including email, spreadsheets, and timekeeping/reporting systems. Ability to work independently with limited day-to-day client supervision. Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse/distribution center environment. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can independently manage a project-based workforce rather than simply coordinate temporary employees . This individual should be comfortable receiving a defined scope of work from the client, translating those requirements into daily assignments, managing the team's execution, tracking results, and providing the client with clear updates on progress. Success in this position requires strong ownership, accountability, communication, and the ability to adjust staffing and workflow as project requirements change.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
