Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Quality Manager to lead our quality systems and inspection operations in a precision manufacturing environment. You will ensure products meet customer specifications, maintain compliance with applicable quality standards, supervise the Quality Assurance team, and partner with Engineering and Manufacturing to improve quality, reliability, and operational performance. What You'll Do Develop, implement, and maintain company quality assurance programs and systems Update and maintain the Quality Control Manual, policies, procedures, and work instructions Lead internal audits and support customer, supplier, and external quality audits Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, IATF, customer, and regulatory requirements Define and manage quality control plans for critical manufacturing processes Supervise inspection, testing, calibration, and Quality Assurance Department personnel Review quality data, SPC reports, trends, and performance metrics Lead root-cause analysis and corrective and preventive action initiatives Establish and maintain supplier quality performance standards Conduct supplier visits and resolve quality concerns with vendors and customers Oversee product sample submissions and approvals for new products and engineering changes Generate and distribute quality reports to customers and internal stakeholders Recommend inspection equipment and technology improvements Develop and conduct quality assurance training for employees Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production to reduce defects and improve processes Represent E.J. Basler Co. during supplier reviews and external audits What You Bring Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, manufacturing, or a related field preferred; equivalent quality management experience will be considered Minimum of five years of relevant experience in quality assurance, manufacturing, or compliance Experience with ISO 9001, IATF, internal audits, and quality management systems Knowledge of precision manufacturing processes, including CNC machining, Swiss machining, and grinding Experience supervising quality assurance or inspection personnel Proficiency with CMMs, vision systems, gauges, computerized testing equipment, and calibration systems Experience with SPC, quality management software, reporting tools, and data analysis Strong problem-solving, root-cause analysis, and corrective action skills Ability to develop and maintain quality policies, procedures, control plans, and work instructions Strong written and verbal communication skills Organized, adaptable, and effective in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Ability to influence cross-functional quality practices Due to U.S. Export Control laws and regulations, applicants must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), including U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3). Competitive salary:
