Safety and Quality Control Coordinator Safety and Fleet SUMMARY:
This is a self-motivated role to drive employee safety through creation of policy, observations, training, and audits. This role will create a collaborative, safe environment for field and support within the Anthony organization. Yearly Income:
$60,000-$70,000 ESSENTIAL
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work the Managers to develop and revise policies that drive safety for field and support staff Engage with HR and Training & Development stakeholders to improve the safety program for new employees Collaborate with Field Managers and other stakeholders to improve training and training opportunities throughout each department. Advise Managers and Senior Leadership on gaps and opportunities with safety Conduct on site documented risk assessments through observations and audits completed weekly (minimum of 200 per quarter). Conduct monthly ride along with each field department Enforce safety through feedback, training, and accountability Communicates with Managers on improvements that can be made to emergency preparedness, accident prevention, general safety, and risk management. Will halt operations and activities that could harm staff or equipment. Prepare and present weekly/monthly reports on safety opportunities and accidents Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws, regulations, codes, and rules Head and participate in the Anthony Safety Committee. Monitors Samsara and works with all drivers to promote safe driving, keep safety score 95 or above. Assists with getting all new drivers trained and certified to drive company vehicles. All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
AND/OR EXPERIENCE
OHSA 10 Certification; OSHA 30 preferred Must complete EPA Certification within 90 days of hire date Must complete NATE Certification within 90 days of hire date CPR, First Aid and AED Instructor Certified
LANGUAGE/COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Strong communications skills both verbal and written. Comfortable to speak effectively before groups and/or team members of the organization. Able to write curriculum and reports
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Apply common sense understanding in written, verbal or diagram form. Strong problem-solving skills involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite. Willingness to learn other programs as needed.
