Islandia, NY Job Summary We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Supervisor to oversee quality control operations at the WCD Warehouse. This position is responsible for leading the Quality Control team, ensuring products and warehouse processes meet established quality standards, and working closely with warehouse leadership to identify and resolve quality issues. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can effectively manage a team, maintain high standards of accuracy, and thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities Supervise, lead, and support Quality Control employees on a daily basis. Oversee quality inspections and ensure products meet established company standards. Monitor warehouse processes to identify quality issues, errors, and opportunities for improvement. Perform and oversee routine inspections, audits, and quality checks. Investigate quality issues and determine root causes. Develop and implement corrective and preventative actions when necessary. Maintain accurate quality records, reports, and documentation. Communicate quality concerns and trends to Warehouse Management and other appropriate departments. Partner with Operations, Receiving, Shipping, Inventory, and other departments to resolve quality issues. Train and coach Quality Control employees on procedures, expectations, and quality standards. Monitor employee performance and provide feedback and accountability. Ensure employees follow company policies, procedures, and safety requirements. Promote a culture of quality, accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement. Assist with developing and improving Quality Control procedures and processes. Ensure the Quality Control area remains organized, efficient, and safe. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Previous experience in Quality Control, Warehouse Operations, Distribution, Manufacturing, or a related field . Previous supervisory, lead, or team-management experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to train, coach, and motivate employees. Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a management team. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Basic computer and data-entry skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the warehouse as needed. Preferred Qualifications Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS). Experience conducting quality audits and inspections. Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse processes. Experience identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions. Previous experience supervising a Quality Control team.
