The Quality Control Manager leads all inspection, verification, and product conformance activities within an ISO 9001-certified manufacturing environment. Above-average benefits available on the 1st of the month after you start 401K Match Opportunities for professional development and certifications Collaborative, innovative work environment Key Responsibilities Own and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) Lead internal, external, customer, and certification audits Manage document control and quality records Oversee the Material Review Board (MRB) process Lead containment, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and verification activities Manage incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities Ensure calibration compliance, gage control, and testing effectiveness Monitor special processes and product conformance Manage nonconforming material and product control processes Support domestic customers and domestic product quality performance Analyze and report quality metrics including FPY, DPPM, audit results, and nonconformance trends Develop, coach, and lead Quality Inspectors, Technicians, Engineers, and Supervisors Authority The Quality Control Manager has authority to: Place product on hold Stop shipments for quality concerns Reject nonconforming material Convene and lead MRB reviews Escalate quality and compliance risks Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field, or equivalent experience 5+ years of quality leadership experience in a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, auditing, inspection methods, and corrective action processes Experience with calibration systems, gage control, and quality data analysis Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Preferred ASQ certifications (CQE, CMQ/OE, CQA) Six Sigma Green Belt or higher Experience in metal fabrication, machining, or assembly manufacturing #UrbIND If you require reasonable accommodation for any part of the application or hiring process due to a disability, you may contact the company's Human Resources Department at (937) 399-0500.
