Job Description

Quality ManagerOverviewA growing manufacturing company is seeking a hands-on Quality Manager to lead quality operations, drive continuous improvement, and reduce defects across production processes. This role requires a strong background in root cause analysis, quality systems, customer relations, and team development. Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions to reduce defects, scrap, and customer quality issues. Develop and mentor the quality team while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Manage quality systems, audits, process controls, SPC, FMEAs, and
ISO 9001
compliance. Drive quality improvement initiatives through data analysis, trend monitoring, and performance metrics. Serve as the primary quality contact for customers, suppliers, audits, and corrective action activities. Support product certification, traceability, inspections, testing, and regulatory compliance requirements. Oversee laboratory, calibration, and measurement systems to ensure product and process quality. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical field preferred. 5+ years of quality leadership experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, root cause analysis, SPC, CAPA, audits, and continuous improvement tools. Experience working directly with customers and suppliers on quality-related matters. Metal casting, machining, foundry, aerospace, automotive, or defense manufacturing experience preferred. #JDP
