Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Manager to lead and enhance the quality management system within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role involves collaborating closely with a multi-shift quality team and ensuring top-tier customer satisfaction through effective quality communications. The Quality Manager will be accountable for managing quality audits, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining compliance with ISO standards, enabling significant impact on overall production quality and efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a quality assurance team across multiple shifts to maintain high-quality standards and improve processes. Implement and oversee quality audits to ensure compliance with
ISO 9001
2015, addressing any nonconformities swiftly and effectively. Develop and execute risk-based inspection strategies, improving operational efficiency and product reliability. Act as the main point of contact for customer quality communications, ensuring transparency and satisfaction through effective resolution of quality issues.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing quality management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role in a multi-shift setting. Proven experience and expertise in sheet/plate fabrication and related processes in electrical-power components. Fluency with ERP systems and proficiency in Excel and Power Query for data analysis and reporting. Demonstrated ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives, with a strong background in Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
