Anaheim, CA Job Details Full-time $28 - $38 an hour 3 hours ago Qualifications Mechanical blueprint interpretation Measurement-based inspection Production data analysis Blueprint specification interpretation Quality control statistical data analysis Statistical Process Control Dimensional measurements Precision measurement in machining Full Job Description We are hiring a CMM Inspector Technician to join our quality team on-site . If you're precise, detail-driven, and experienced with Zeiss CMMs and Calypso software, we want to hear from you.
Shift:
6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (First Shift) What You'll Do Inspect machined castings and components using Zeiss CMMs and Calypso software Read and apply GD&T (ASME Y14.5) to evaluate part conformance Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections Analyze SPC data (Cpk/Ppk) and flag process drift Maintain CMM calibration and a clean, organized inspection lab (5S) What You Need AA degree or trade school training in quality/metrology, or equivalent experience 3+ years programming and operating Zeiss CMMs (Calypso) in a close-tolerance environment Strong blueprint reading and advanced GD&T skills Familiarity with precision measuring tools and SPC fundamentals Nice to Have Experience with 5-axis milled parts and close-tolerance castings Calypso CAD-based/parametric programming Fixture design or build experience
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs; extended periods of close visual and fine hand work.
