In this vital role, you will ensure that all products meet rigorous quality standards and comply with industry regulations. Your keen eye for detail, mechanical knowledge, and expertise in measurement tools will help maintain the highest levels of quality assurance throughout the production process. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment committed to excellence and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and vision inspection systems. Interpret mechanical blueprints, manufacturing documents, and technical specifications to verify dimensional accuracy and adherence to quality standards. Perform quality audits in accordance with
ISO 9001, ISO 13485, GMP
(Good Manufacturing Practice), and FDA regulations to ensure compliance across all production stages. Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles for precise measurement and analysis of parts and assemblies. Collect, analyze, and document data related to quality metrics, non-conformances, and process deviations for continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify root causes of defects and implement corrective actions aligned with regulatory/legal standards. Support calibration of measuring instruments and maintain calibration records to ensure measurement accuracy. Qualifications Proven experience in quality inspection or quality assurance within a manufacturing setting, with a strong understanding of quality systems such as
ISO 9001, ISO
13485, or GMP. Proficiency in using dimensional measurement tools including height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), vision inspection systems, and other precision measuring instruments. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing documents accurately. Familiarity with regulatory standards such as FDA regulations, HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice), and ISO standards. Strong analysis skills with the ability to perform detailed inspections and identify deviations from quality standards. Basic math skills for measurements, data collection, and analysis tasks. Experience conducting quality audits and implementing quality management principles in a fast-paced production environment. Excellent attention to detail combined with effective communication skills to document findings clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
