Become a Key Player as an Inspector Senior You will perform semi-complex inspections to ensure parts meet specifications and support quality assurance across manufacturing operations. You will work onsite with the team and collaborate with source inspectors and suppliers to resolve nonconformances and drive product acceptance. This is a first-shift, onsite role (6:30 AM-3:00 PM). Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team Inspect parts, tools, and instruments to determine acceptance or rejection and document results. Maintain accurate acceptance/rejection records and certification systems per specifications. Perform semi-complex inspections on machined parts using measuring instruments and adapt setups for sample parts, forgings, and castings. Interpret specifications, blueprints, and technical documents; apply shop mathematics for dimension and tolerance conversions. Conduct calibration on measuring and test equipment and document calibration intervals. Perform nondestructive testing, execute daily checks, and ensure compliance with safety and FOD-free procedures. Investigate customer return failures and assist source inspectors; document and evaluate inspection outcomes per approved procedures. Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role Experience with First Article inspection AS9102 (Aerospace). Experience with mechanical inspection and GD&T knowledge. Experience reviewing supplier certifications (material certs, special process certs, test reports). Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, customer specifications, internal drawings, and procedures. Working knowledge of shop mathematics, including trigonometry. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use personal hand tools as required. Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to work as a participative team player.
