Job Description Job Summary:
The Quality Specialist is responsible for reviewing and verifying completed jobs for conformance to customer purchase order, drawing, process, and specification requirements. Candidate will have to interact with vendors as well with CFW personnel from other departments. A certificate of conformance will be generated to signify parts have met all customer requirements.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES
Review and perform certification of conformance for all major OEMs Review "Job Cards" for accuracy and compliance with applicable specifications and customer purchase order Maintain sourcing certification. Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Procedures Help close out completed jobs Verify Certification packages are complete and correct. Communicate with other Quality Specialist and Managers, and supervisors. Assist other departments during times of reduced workload Verify customer purchase order complies with specification requirements Respond to customer requests for corrected certifications or other documentation in a timely manner Maintain positive relationship with customers by promoting efficiency and responding to customer requests Other duties as assigned Required education / experience: High school diploma or equivalent Must be fluent in English Aerospace Quality Assurance Experience (AS9100 or ISO9001) Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong cross functional team and organization skills Detail oriented, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Ability to communicate effectively with customers (internal and external), employees, and managers Must be quality oriented with a focus on thoroughness and accuracy High level of integrity and discretion with an ability to responsibly handle sensitive and confidential information Computer literate (MS office).
Preferred requirements:
1+ years of office experience in a manufacturing environment 1+ years of data entry experience is strongly preferred Basic knowledge of heat treat process preferred For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $21.00 to $27.00 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 160 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan. This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)). Founded in 1959, Aerocraft processes forgings, castings, bar, plate, and rough-machined parts. Materials are processes for most of the aerospace prime contractors.
