What You'll Do:
Collect and test aggregate materials such as sand, gravel, and crushed stone to ensure top-tier quality Perform both field and lab testing using industry standards (ASTM, AASHTO) Monitor production processes and partner with operations teams to maintain consistency and performance Accurately record, analyze, and communicate test results Identify quality issues early and help implement effective solutions Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure precision Support continuous improvement efforts across production and quality systems Uphold a strong commitment to safety and environmental standards ________________________________________
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or GED required; technical training or associate degree is a plus Experience in construction materials, aggregates, or lab testing preferred—but we're willing to train the right candidate Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset Comfortable working both indoors (lab) and outdoors (plant/quarry environments) Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly Self-motivated, dependable, and a team player ________________________________________

Physical & Work Environment:
Active role requiring standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and working in various weather conditions Combination of laboratory work and outdoor site visits Exposure to dust, noise, and heavy equipment in a controlled, safety-focused environment ________________________________________

WORK ENVIROMENT

The employee is frequently exposed to high, precarious places, airborne particles, confined space, outside weather conditions, low lighting, artificial lighting. The employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, proximity to electrical equipment, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and occasionally loud.
