Job Description

Shipping, Receiving & Quality Inspector responsible for incoming inspection, product handling, inventory movement, and outbound shipment preparation within a manufacturing environment. Job Requirements 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing, quality inspection, warehouse, shipping, or receiving. Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings. Experience verifying dimensions, threads, markings, and specifications. Experience using calipers, micrometers, plug gages, thread gages, pin gages, and other precision measuring tools. Basic computer skills. Experience with ERP systems. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to perform frequent material handling. Experience operating pallet jacks. Forklift experience. Preferred Skills AS400 experience. Manufacturing quality inspection experience. Shipping and receiving experience. Experience building and securing pallets or skids. Experience coordinating shipments with freight carriers. Job Responsibilities Receive, organize, inspect, and ship products. Perform incoming inspections using precision measuring tools. Verify product dimensions, threads, markings, and specifications against engineering drawings. Document incoming inspection results. Prepare products for outbound shipment. Build and secure pallets and skids. Coordinate shipments with carriers. Operate forklifts and pallet jacks for material movement. Move, stage, and organize incoming and outgoing materials. Update inventory and shipment information in applicable ERP systems.
