We are an AS9100-certified organization serving the Aerospace, Space, and Amusement markets. We are currently hiring an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Static Inspector to join our team. Ferrera Tooling provides a strong benefits package for all full-time employees, including medical, vision, dental, 401(k), life insurance, and additional offerings. This is a full-time, first-shift position scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with regular overtime opportunities available. Successful applicants should have a well-rounded background in maintaining quality standards and regulatory compliance through inspection procedures.
Requirements and qualifications include:
Ability to read and understand technical blueprints, drawings, and specifications Solid understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) concepts and use Strong knowledge of metrology tools and correct measurement methods Computer skills for recordkeeping, quality monitoring, and reporting Practical experience with inspection instruments such as calipers, micrometers, CMMs, optical comparators, or similar equipment Dedication to ongoing quality improvement and streamlining inspection methods Ability to keep the inspection workspace clean, orderly, and safe Minimum qualifications: Must possess a valid driver's license and dependable transportation Must demonstrate reliable and punctual attendance Must be at least 18 years of age Must be able to perform inspections with specialized tools and accurately record results
