Job Description

Qualifications Previous poultry experience on co-packing or further processing plant. Previous experience completing HACCP, SSOP and SPS inspections. Previous experience completing, organic, PVP inspections and understanding of segregation programs. Experience verifying the implementation of Quality and Food safety programs according to the policy. Previous experience on pre-operational inspection Previous experience completing quality inspections Able to read, write and comprehend English. Experience completing label review and identification of missing or incorrect items. Good communication skills with peers, members of management and USDA inspectors.
Basic computer skills:
Excel, Outlook, Word. Demonstrate excellent employee relation skills Previous experience managing a group of people, preferably Quality assurance technician or SPC inspectors. Previous BRC, Organic and PVP audit experience (audit documentation preparation). Be a team player and have positive attitude Strong integrity and work ethic. Good math and analytical skills. Responsibilities To oversee quality assurance technicians and ensure they completing the task assigned according to the policies and programs. To oversee quality inspectors and ensure they are inspecting according to the product specification provided. To aid quality assurance technician and quality inspectors by communicating with production leadership issues identified. To verify HACCP, SSOP and SPS programs are implemented during processing, o communicate any issues identified to the QA supervisor and the site management to ensure the plant complies with USDA and customer requirements. Daily Record review and filing. Completes additional tasks as directed by the QA manager or QA supervisor. Complete Internal GMP, Glass and Brittle plastic and pest control audits
