You will inspect products, materials, and processes for defects, verify specifications using measuring tools, and document results in checklists or digital systems. Collaborate with supervisors and production teams to resolve quality issues, support root-cause investigations, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. This role offers steady, varied work, clear expectations, and the chance to grow skills while contributing to safe, high-quality output for local employers. Responsibilities Inspect products, components, and materials for defects or nonconformances Verify measurements and tolerances using gauges, calipers, and other tools Compare finished work against blueprints, specifications, or quality standards Document inspection findings, nonconformances, and rework in logs or digital systems Communicate quality issues to supervisors, production, or engineering teams Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring defects Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized inspection area Participate in periodic audits and continuous improvement activities Required Skills Quality inspection Use of calipers and gauges Reading blueprints or specs Measurement and tolerance verification Documentation and reporting Basic Microsoft Office or data-entry software Nonconformance reporting Root-cause and corrective action support Knowledge of safety procedures Basic understanding of ISO or quality standards
