m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $25.44 per hour, plus an additional $0.50 cent shift differential. What you'll do: The Layout Technician will operate sheet metal fabrication machines, read shop orders, read and understand engineering drawings, perform quality checks and use calibration equipment such as calipers, or any other equipment necessary to perform job functions. In the functions, you will : Work with flat sheet metal (steel and aluminum) Run various machine operations (brake press, hammer flanger, buffalo roller, hand scribing & hand sheering) Safety & Quality Training necessary, but not limited to : Types of Mechanical Power Presses Safeguarding Requirements Trip Devices Press Inspections Die Setting Basic Operating Controls First Piece Quality Inspection In-process Quality Inspection Linknet training

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:
