Receiving / Quality Assurance AssociatePosition SummaryThe Receiving / Quality Assurance Associate is responsible for receiving incoming materials, inspecting products for quality and accuracy, maintaining inventory documentation, and ensuring materials meet company specifications. This position requires strong attention to detail, accurate recordkeeping, and the ability to follow established quality and safety procedures.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesReceive and inspect incoming materials, components, and products.
Verify quantities, part numbers, labels, and documentation against purchase orders and shipping records.
Perform visual and dimensional inspections to identify defects, damage, or discrepancies.
Complete quality inspections and document results accurately.
Identify and report non-conforming materials or products to the appropriate supervisor or quality personnel.
Assist with investigating receiving and quality discrepancies.
Maintain accurate receiving, inspection, and inventory records.
Properly label, identify, and organize incoming materials.
Coordinate with Production, Shipping, Purchasing, and Quality departments as needed.
Follow all standard operating procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements.
Maintain a clean and organized receiving/inspection area.
Operate material-handling equipment when authorized and properly trained.
Perform other duties as assigned.
QualificationsPrevious experience in receiving, quality control, inspection, manufacturing, or a related environment preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to read and understand work instructions, procedures, and quality documentation.
Basic computer skills and ability to complete electronic or written records.
Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
Ability to identify quality issues and communicate discrepancies promptly.
Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.
Physical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to frequently bend, reach, push, pull, and lift materials.
Ability to lift and move materials as required by the position.
Ability to safely perform repetitive tasks.
Must be able to wear required PPE and safety equipment.
Work EnvironmentThis position is performed in a manufacturing/warehouse environment. The facility may experience varying temperatures throughout the year. Employees are expected to follow all safety procedures and maintain appropriate workplace attire and footwear.

Employees must follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Required safety footwear and PPE must be worn as directed.
Employees are expected to immediately report safety concerns, damaged materials, or quality issues to the appropriate supervisor.
