Job Description Job Description Summary:
Under minimal supervision, inspects product based on the organization's quality assurance policies and programs. Ensure compliance with customer's requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include the following, however, other duties may apply.): Knowledge and troubleshooting in foundry and machining processes Knowledge in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerances Utilizes various precision test and measurement tools and equipment Interprets and adheres to quality process standards for internal operations and outside vendors Performs tests and procedures in an organized and efficient manner Documents and files test results according to established guidelines Minor rework of parts Calibrate gages Maintain ISO processes Any other duties that are required to keep the shop running
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Required Qualifications:
To perform this job satisfactorily, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or
Experience:
Five years related experience and /or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience. High school diploma or GED required Excellent computer skills
Language Skills:
Effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written in the English language.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to perform basic mathematical computations. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
