Available Position Overview A growing precision-machining manufacturer is seeking an experienced CMM Programmer to support dimensional inspection and quality verification for complex machined components serving aerospace, defense, national laboratory, aircraft and specialty-equipment customers. This position is responsible for programming and operating an LK Altera CMM using PolyWorks, completing in-process and final inspections, verifying conformance to customer requirements and collaborating with machinists and engineers to resolve dimensional issues. The facility offers advanced manufacturing technology, clean and climate-controlled production areas, a collaborative culture and opportunities for continued technical development. Key Responsibilities Program, set up and operate an LK Altera CMM using PolyWorks. Develop and maintain CMM inspection programs for precision-machined components. Interpret engineering drawings, customer specifications and GD&T requirements. Perform in-process and final dimensional inspections. Verify machined parts meet customer and quality-system requirements. Create accurate inspection reports and document measurement results. Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges and other precision measurement equipment. Identify dimensional nonconformances and communicate findings clearly. Work with machinists, project engineers and quality personnel to troubleshoot manufacturing issues. Support first-piece, in-process and final-part verification. Maintain accurate job-time records and inspection documentation. Follow established

9001, safety and quality procedures. Maintain an organized and efficient inspection area. Required Qualifications At least five years of professional CMM programming experience. Hands-on PolyWorks programming experience. Ability to independently program, set up and operate a CMM. Strong working knowledge of GD&T. Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications. Experience inspecting precision-machined components. Proficiency with manual precision measurement instruments. Experience completing in-process and final inspection reports. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Strong problem-solving, communication and organizational skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with machinists and engineers. Preferred Qualifications Experience operating an LK Altera CMM. Aerospace, defense or other high-precision manufacturing experience. Familiarity with AS9100D or

quality systems. Experience inspecting complex, tight-tolerance components. Experience troubleshooting dimensional or machining-process issues.
