CMM Programmer / Operator

Job Description

Ultraform Industries is an automotive supplier located in Romeo Michigan. We manufacture metal stamped and wire formed parts. As a CMM Programmer at Ultraform Industries, you will play a key role in the success of our organization. Schedule- Full-time Monday through Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm Hourly pay rate negotiated based on experience.
Job Responsibilities:
Performs layouts and documents results for PPAP submissions Performs layouts for production process and compiles/evaluates gathered data to determine/maintain quality and reliability of products Performs capability studies and R & R studies. Layout inspection gages/fixtures, as needed. Ensure all calibrations are completed on or before their due dates. Minor gage repairs. Support engineering by measuring tooling / some reverse engineering required. Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams or formulas and confers with management or engineering within limits of equipment capability Reviews all print feasibilities for dimensioning and GD&T Prepares graphs or charts of data, or enters data into computer for analysis Helps with Audits, first pieces, receiving, training, etc. as needed Completes hourly SPC measurements on production parts as required. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
CMM Programmer Experience 3-5 years Automotive experience Experience with PC DMIS software Experience within a manufacturing environment providing metrology solutions Strong GD&T and Quality Systems knowledge Knowledgeable in surface plate layouts Proficient with Windows OS
