Day Shift-Start Time, 7AM 40-45 hours/week
Environment:
ISO 9001
2015-certified, ITAR-registered metal fabrication job shop (sheet metal, CNC machining, laser cutting, stamping, welding/assembly) serving aerospace, automotive, military, medical, and appliance customers.
Responsibilities:
Own and maintain the
ISO 9001
2015 quality management system including documentation, procedures, and continuous compliance Maintain accurate, audit-ready quality records (inspection data, calibration logs, training records, CAPA files) Prepare and manage PPAP submissions and customer approval packages Lead non-conformance management: root cause analysis, corrective/preventive action (CAPA), and disposition of nonconforming material Plan and lead internal audits; serve as primary point of contact for customer and third-party (registrar) audits Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the quality system Supervise/mentor quality inspectors and CMM operators; set inspection priorities and standards Interface with customers on quality issues, corrective actions, and quality metrics
Qualifications:
5+ years of quality management experience in a manufacturing environment (metal fabrication, machining, or job-shop experience preferred) Working knowledge of
ISO 9001
2015 requirements and audit management Strong PPAP experience Proven track record managing non-conformance/CAPA processes Strong command of GD&T, blueprint reading, and dimensional inspection methods Experience with CMM-based inspection oversight (Mitutoyo/Keyence a plus) ITAR familiarity preferred; must be eligible to work under ITAR (US person status required) Experience with AS9100 or
IATF 16949
a plus, given aerospace/automotive customer base
Pay:
$33.00 - $37.00 per hour
