Your Impact in This Role As a Quality Testing Technician , your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Assist in utilizing the Sibelco Quality system at Sibelco facility. Lead in ensuring that products and services meet or exceed customer specifications. Perform plant quality checks per Sibelco's Quality Procedures. Track quality performance, identify problem areas, takes action to contain any deficient material from leaving the facility and undertakes other actions to improve. Assist with plant quality meetings and training of plant employees. Update and maintain Quality records on a computer. Analyze data and produce reports, as requested. Observe Production Line Workers' actions to ensure sampling and testing are done correctly. Perform and document in-process cullet sampling in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP). Conduct and document incoming and outgoing load inspections. Work with the maintenance personnel to ensure equipment operates efficiently to optimize product quality. Wear appropriate site-specific personal protective equipment (PPE), as required. Understand and adhere to all company operating procedures and company safety policies. Cross-trained in other plant positions, as needed. REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Core competencies in Quality Control, Testing, and Auditing, a plus. Able to read and understand Procedures and Test Methods. Capable of operating quality equipment (inspection tables, ovens, etc.). Excellent communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills. Strong work ethic and ability to work independently, with little supervision. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Color vision. Data entry experience. Capable of using a calculator and laboratory scales and competency with interpreting numbers. Basic computer operation skills (experience with Excel and Outlook). Any other related duties, as assigned by their supervisor
