Job Description
Company Description Terra Star, LLC is a manufacturer of high-density polyethylene conduit and pipe for use in telecommunications, utilities, broadband and infrastructure across the nation. Position Description Duties include but are not limited to:
- Responsible to inspect product during the production process using calipers, micrometers, pi tape, and a weight scale as well as other "type" tests as required
- Ensure that the product meets customer specifications, immediately reporting any defects to the immediate supervisor
- Apply knowledge of product standards and make decision on product status and mark defect type when observed
- Responsible for documenting all quality dimensions of product & production related information within a neat, accurate and timely manner
- Use knowledge of required standards and specifications to inspect and tag reels
- Test all incoming raw materials and record date of inspection
- Maintains neat and orderly work area
- Comply with, support, and promote all Terra Star safety policies
- Complete all other tasks assigned by the immediate Supervisor Position Skills and Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
