Quality Assurance Inspector - 2nd Shift

Job Description

Summary We are seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to join our dynamic team at Pacon Manufacturing Corporation located in the United States. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards, contributing to our mission of delivering innovative solutions to our customers. Responsibilities First Article Inspection Perform routine Inspections and quality tests on in-process and finished goods samples. Identify and resolve workflow and production issues. Ensure that safety standards are observed and reports any. Perform and document in process inspections as per specifications. Initiate inspection reports at start of shift & changeovers. Perform 2nd inspection when out of specification (OOS) results are found. Take product samples at specified times, label samples with appropriate information. Gather samples for product standards for first article product testing, retained samples, micro testing samples. Document daily scale verifications. Verify check weigh & metal detectors have been inspected at start of shift. Document and complete proper paperwork to maintain quality records of the product and input into computer Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the work area. Ensure that safety standards are followed and reports any potentially unsafe conditions. Maintains a high level of GMP & safety awareness adhering to all established safety policies and procedures. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Inspector or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001) and FDA regulations. Proficiency with coordinate measuring machines and vision inspection systems. Familiarity with HACCP and CGMP principles is a plus. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in manufacturing or related field is preferred.
