Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector with Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) experience to support precision manufacturing operations in a fast-paced aerospace environment. This position is responsible for performing dimensional inspections of machined parts and assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, customer specifications, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong inspection experience, blueprint reading skills, and the ability to work with tight tolerances and complex components.

High SchoolResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections of precision machined components and assemblies. Operate and program CMM equipment to inspect parts and verify dimensional accuracy. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and customer specifications. Use precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, thread gauges, optical comparators, and surface plate equipment. Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records and reports. Identify non-conforming material and assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions. Verify compliance with aerospace quality standards, customer requirements, and internal procedures. Support AS9100 and ISO quality management system requirements. Assist manufacturing personnel in resolving dimensional and quality issues. Review inspection plans, travelers, and work instructions for accuracy and completeness. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to quality and inspection processes. Maintain calibration awareness and proper handling of inspection equipment.
