Schedule:
37.5 hours/week | 7.5 hours/day | 5 days/week Position Summary The Quality Management Coordinator supports the Quality Management, Risk Management, and Nursing Behavioral Health departments through auditing, documentation review, compliance monitoring, and report preparation. This role is responsible for analyzing quality and safety data, summarizing audit findings, monitoring compliance with healthcare policies and observation protocols, and preparing monthly quality reports. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills, along with experience in healthcare quality assurance, compliance monitoring, and electronic medical record systems such as EPIC. Key Responsibilities Conduct and summarize monthly audits across various nursing and behavioral health units. Review and monitor compliance related to: Mock Codes Nursing Assignments Hand Hygiene 1:1 Observation Q15 Checks Close Observation Constant Observation protocols Full Body Restraints Handcuff and Shackles documentation 2-point restraints Patient identifiers and related compliance standards Analyze documentation findings and prepare detailed monthly quality reports. Collaborate with Nursing Behavioral Health, Risk Management, and Quality Management departments to identify trends and compliance gaps. Ensure documentation accuracy, completeness, and adherence to healthcare regulations and organizational policies. Maintain and update audit records, reports, and tracking logs. Utilize EPIC and Microsoft Office Suite for documentation review, reporting, and data analysis. Assist with quality improvement initiatives and regulatory readiness activities. Support policy adherence and continuous process improvement efforts within home care and behavioral health operations. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree required. Minimum three (3) years of relevant healthcare quality management, quality assurance, compliance, or healthcare administration experience. Experience with healthcare documentation audits and compliance monitoring.
Proficiency with:
EPIC EMR
system Microsoft Office Suite Quality Assurance processes Health Home policies and procedures Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Excellent analytical, organizational, and reporting abilities. Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree preferred. Experience in Behavioral Health, Home Care, or Hospital Quality Management settings preferred. Knowledge of Joint Commission standards, patient safety protocols, and risk management practices preferred. Pay:
