We are seeking a 2nd shift detail-oriented and analytical Quality Assurance Technician who has a background in food manufacturing to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products and processes. Your responsibilities will include testing, inspecting, and evaluating products to ensure they meet our high standards.
Responsibilities:
Conduct quality control tests and inspections of incoming food materials, ingredients, packaging et. al. to ensure specification and/or required compliance Metal detection equipment calibration, programming, and monitoring capability. Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues Perform raw material, ingredient and finished product sampling, testing and evaluation (organoleptic) requirements Monitoring and reporting food safety, quality, or safety concerns Maintain accurate records of quality control activities
Requirements:
1+ years of experience in food manufacturing preferred 1+ years of experience in quality assurance or a related field High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to read, write, and speak basic English Ability to speak Spanish preferred Demonstrate basic abilities for technical aptitude Ability to perform basic math skills This is 2nd shift 4:30p-2:30a Monday-Thursday. Friday over time is flex based on the production.
