This position is responsible for performing First Article and In-Process inspections of production components and assemblies while ensuring products and processes meet established API, ISO, and company quality standards. Quality Inspector Responsibilities Inspect products using gauges, micrometers, calipers, and visual inspection prior to shipment Perform First Article and In-Process inspections of production components and assemblies Perform hardness testing using a variety of testing equipment Verify traceability through proper stenciling of part numbers, material heat numbers, and serial numbers Inspect critical dimensions, sealing surfaces, and threads Review, sign, and date Production Order Travelers and Inspection Documents Document inspection and examination results in required reports Initiate the Non-Conformance procedure when parts do not meet engineering requirements Reconcile, inspect, sign, and date shipments for accuracy and quality prior to shipment Perform non-destructive testing using Magnetic Particle and Liquid Penetrant methods Complete required safety training and follow all company safety protocols Perform other duties as assigned Quality Inspector Qualifications 3-6 months of experience in manufacturing quality, assembly, or machining required Knowledge of API and ISO standards Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and blueprints Experience performing dimensional inspections using basic metrology tools such as calipers and micrometers Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Basic math skills, including working with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals Ability to interpret and follow detailed written and verbal instructions Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment High school diploma or equivalent
