Job Summary :
Quality Technicians will participate in identifying root cause and correcting customer issues. They will participate in product and process improvement initiatives, audit process compliance, applaud compliance, and seek correction to weaknesses.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None Duties/Responsibilities:
- Performs final inspections on complete units, layered process audits / reviews (LPAs, LPRs), dimensional verification of product, and underwriter laboratory (U.L.) audits.
- Host U.L. staff on site; manage U.L. sample execution
- Quality alert management
- Warranty management / Hold area management
- Be observant in recognizing details associated with defective material and product.
- Communicates problems between factory and off-site locations; back up for corporate meetings
- Cross train in other functions as required.
- Performs visual inspections on welds, weld tips, communicate findings, and, internal audits
- Interprets engineering drawings, diagrams and confers with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.
- Use of computer to analyze scrap occurrence & priority to drive root cause corrective action Monitor for scrap spikes, communicate, collaborate in determining cause and correction via (CCC)
- Examine material or products against drawings, bills of material, and other specifications.
- Perform
ISO 9001
internal audits, support surveillance and re-registration audits
- Processes and expedites CARs, ECRs
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex technical periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
- Effectively present information and respond to questions from diverse groups of people.
- Calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, area, circumference and volume.
- Apply concepts of business.
- Solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral and diagram and/or schedule form.
- Understand air-handling electrical, piping and interpret the requirements of the customer's order into product documentation.
- Ability to train and mentor less skilled people to achieve higher results.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Excel and PowerPoint), as well as Internet software and E-mail is required.

Pay:
From $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
