Job Description

The Performance Group is looking for a weekend Packing Lead for the Landisville, PA facility of a global logistics company! We are looking for someone who will be helping with setting up lines for different jobs, conducting quality inspections, confirming completed jobs, and communicating with various departments and teams. Positions are temp-to-hire, and the company is eager to have quality candidates join their team! This position will be Sat-Sun from 7am-7pm and Mon-Tue from 7am-3pm.

1st shift

Pay Rate:

$21/hr

Responsibilities:

Line set-up and Clearance of Line/Work Area - each shift (switch jobs in between) Review / Confirmation of all Material Reconciliation at end of batch In-process quality inspections (supervisor or other agent inspection and sign-off) Collect and verify completeness of Batch Records Inspection of signature list for training (including assembly specialist and material handlers) Validate completeness and resolution of Batch Lot and Expiration IR form. Investigate, validate, and dispose of any damaged product or deviation notes. Investigate all deviations or discrepancies found in production process or product and seek resolution. Direct communication with production Supervisors and quality management to resolve and/or disposition any quality concerns or issues identified (process or product) Escalate unresolved quality issues and/or incomplete Batch Records immediately to department Managers/ Directors Establish clear non-defensive accountability for quality with all team members working on RX or Food projects.

Qualifications:

Strong analytical and Detail oriented skills Excellent problem-solving skills and Effective communication skills (verbal and written) Organizational skill and time management discipline Self-motivated and able to motivate others to address critical business tasks. Proficient reading and writing skills and ability to understand, interpret, follow and/or complete specific procedural documents, instructions, and forms. Proficient ability to use applicable business tools (calculator, copy machine, telephone, printer, fax machine, box cutter, box taper, indexing ink stamp, highlighter, and ink pen) Ability to push/pull/lift up to 20 pounds. Ability to work in a team environment. Production, warehousing, and fulfillment knowledge PC literacy to include Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point) Proficiency in BPC, BLS, ERP and other core applications as applicable Team player with a positive attitude Mathematical Skill (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) Will be cross trained and working in other departments for business needs.
