Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Quality Control Inspector and play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality and safety. In this energetic position, you will be responsible for inspecting, measuring, and verifying manufacturing outputs to meet strict quality standards. Your keen eye for detail and mechanical expertise will help maintain compliance with industry regulations and internal quality systems. Duties Conduct detailed inspections of products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and vision inspection systems to verify dimensional accuracy. Interpret mechanical blueprints, manufacturing documents, and production specifications to ensure compliance with quality standards. Perform regular quality audits and assessments in accordance with
ISO 9001, ISO 13485, GMP
(Good Manufacturing Practice), FDA regulations, and other regulatory/legal standards. Utilize coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and other advanced measurement tools to perform complex dimensional measurements and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) analysis. Collect data on product quality metrics, document inspection results accurately, and identify trends or deviations that require corrective action. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address quality issues promptly, ensuring adherence to HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice), and other safety protocols. Support continuous improvement initiatives by participating in root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions, and maintaining compliance with ISO standards and quality management systems. Qualifications Proven experience in quality inspection or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and production documents. Proficiency with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, vision systems, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Familiarity with
ISO 9001, ISO 13485, GMP, FDA
regulations, HACCP principles, and regulatory compliance standards relevant to manufacturing. Excellent analysis skills with attention to detail for dimensional measurements and data collection. Basic math skills for precise measurement calculations and data interpretation. Knowledge of GD&T principles for accurate geometric inspections. Ability to perform quality audits effectively while maintaining thorough documentation of findings.
