Job Description

The Quality Technician reports to the Quality Manager and is responsible for inspecting and measuring large industrial components, ensuring products meet quality standards, and documenting and reporting defects.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect raw materials and finished products using precision measuring tools. Measure large components using micrometers, calipers, and gauges . Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, dimensions, and tolerances . Identify and report defects and assist with corrective actions. Prepare inspection, measurement, and quality reports. Monitor production and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. Communicate findings with supervisors and production teams.
Qualifications:
5+ years of quality inspection experience in a heavy industrial environment. Strong experience with precision dimensional measurement. Ability to measure accurately in millimeters . Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of industrial production. 3-5 years of experience preparing quality/inspection reports. Experience as a Quality Control Inspector or Quality Technician preferred. Experience with wind turbines, gearboxes, main shafts, or large industrial components is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
