Not available for this position Position Summary We are seeking a Quality Inspector with Electric Submersible Pump (ESP) experience to support quality inspection activities in an oilfield/manufacturing environment in Odessa, Texas. The Quality Inspector will inspect ESP equipment and components, identify defects or quality issues, verify that parts meet established specifications, and accurately complete inspection documentation. The ideal candidate has hands-on ESP experience along with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced industrial environment. Key Responsibilities Perform moderately complex and detailed inspections of ESP equipment, components, and parts. Inspect parts and equipment to verify they meet established quality specifications. Identify defects, damage, or nonconforming parts and determine whether items should be accepted, rejected, or require further action. Complete inspection reports, testing documentation, and other required quality records accurately. Maintain quality standards and procedures established by the company. Identify recurring quality issues and communicate potential production problems. Assist with troubleshooting equipment or inspection-related issues. Make suggestions for improving quality, processes, and production efficiency. Use hand tools and small assembly tools as required. Handle small parts and components while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Proactively identify and address unsafe conditions or behaviors. Work effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and customers. Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality. Work independently with general supervision and prioritize tasks effectively. Required Qualifications At least 1 year of Electric Submersible Pump (ESP) experience. Experience in a manufacturing, production, quality, inspection, or oilfield environment preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to identify defects and quality issues. Ability to complete inspection and testing documentation. Basic equipment troubleshooting skills. Experience using hand tools such as screwdrivers and small assembly tools. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read, write, and speak English. Professional and respectful communication with coworkers and customers. Strong organization, planning, prioritization, and time-management skills. Ability to accept feedback and coaching. Strong teamwork, accountability, and self-discipline. Forklift experience is a plus but not required. Physical & Work Environment This is a safety-sensitive industrial position that may require employer or customer drug testing. The position may require the ability to: Lift or move up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently . Stand and walk for extended periods. Bend, kneel, crouch, climb ladders and stairs, and work in various positions. Work with small parts and perform repetitive hand and finger movements. Use hand and arm strength to push, pull, carry, and position equipment or components. Maintain close visual attention when inspecting small parts and identifying defects. Work around moving mechanical equipment, vehicles, electrical equipment, chemicals, oils, and cutting fluids. Work in both indoor and outdoor environments. Work in extreme heat, including temperatures above 100°F for extended periods. Work in environments where fumes, dust, odors, gases, or poor ventilation may be present. Follow all required safety procedures and personal protective equipment requirements.
