Job Duties Own and manage First Article Inspections, including recording, analyzing, and certifying results and driving process improvements. Own and manage Incoming Inspection, inspecting components before assembly and analyzing trend data. Support investigations, root-cause analyses, and corrective actions for internal and supplier-related quality issues. Conduct analyses related to critical control points, preventive measures, limits, monitoring procedures, corrective actions, and verification procedures. Provide technical support and backup to Quality Control Inspectors. Train production personnel on quality-related processes. Assist with corrective action processes, calibration programs, UL follow-up, ISO 9001 certification work, process and product audits, and other special quality projects. Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required. AS degree preferred. Experience Requirements 5 years of experience related to manufacturing electro-mechanical products. Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, or inspection documents. Knowledge of precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and measuring devices. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and document inspection results accurately. Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement. Working knowledge of standard office software applications. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications Previous quality inspection, quality assurance, manufacturing, or production experience is preferred. Technical training in manufacturing, quality assurance, or inspection procedures is beneficial. Experience performing first article, in-process, or final product inspections is beneficial. Knowledge of ISO standards, statistical process control, quality documentation, or corrective action procedures is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate accuracy, professionalism, and a commitment to producing high-quality work are well positioned for success as a Quality Assurance Technician. ASQ Certification(s): CMI, CQT, and/or CQA.

Ability to lift products or materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required. Ability to use precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment with accuracy.
